Structure description
1.The pump consists of motor, motor bracket ,pump cover , guide vane, impeller, pressure cylinder, inlet and outlet water section, pump shaft, coupling and other main parts.
2. The guide vane, impeller, pressure cylinder, as key parts of the pump, are made of stainless steel. The pump cover, inlet and outlet of HMP are made of cast iron, the pump cover, inlet and outlet of HMPA are made of stainless steel investment casting
3. The pump adopts single end surface cartridge mechanical seal, the grinding block is cemented carbide/graphite, and the sliding bearing inside the supporting guide vane is cemented carbide.
4. There are a variety of connections between pump and pipeline: round flange, clamp sleeve, pipe thread, waist flange, etc, which can be selected according to the needs of users.
1. The pump should be installed in a well-ventilated and anti-freezing place. The distance between the pump and the motor should be at least 150mm from the obstacle to ensure sufficient air around the motor.
2. In order to minimize the inlet loss, the inlet pipe should be as short as possible
3. Check valves must be installed in the pump outlet piping system
4. The pump shall be installed on a concrete or similar solid foundation with appropriate heightThe weight of the foundation shall be sufficient to provide permanent stable support for the whole pump. Please note that do not concentrate the weight of the pipeline system on the pump to prevent damage.
When the pump is installed, never allow the motor to be upside down on the horizontal plane.
5. The →mark on the bottom plate of the pump indicates the direction of the liquid flowing through the pump. Check whether the liquid can pass freely before starting the pump.
6. Before the installation of the pump, the piping system shall be cleaned, and particles shall not be left in the piping system. Otherwise, the filter screen(especially the pump with a flow rate less than 10m3/h) shall be installed 0.5-lm before the suction inlet of the pump to ensure the normal operation of the pump
7. Air bags shall be prevented when installing inlet pipes, as shown in the figure below
Electrical connections
1. Electrical connections must be made by a qualified electrician
2. Ensure that the power supply parameters match the motor. The wiring of the electric device must comply with the wiring diagram in the junction box or the provisions of the motor name plate.
3. The motor must be equipped with a starting protector to ensure that the motor is notdamaged by phase loss, voltage instability or overload. The motor shall have reliable groundingmeasures.
Make sure the power supply is cut offbefore opening the motor junction box
Startup and maintenance
Read the warning signs on the pressure cylinder of the pump carefully before starting
Pumps are strictly prohibited from running without water
1. The pump must be filled with water(or delivered liquid) before starting
(1) Flow backward installation: close the pump outlet valve, open the screw plug on the pump head, and slowly open the water inflow valve until the stable water flows out of the exhaust screw plug, and then tighten the exhaust screw plug.
(2)suction installation: Close the pump outlet valve, open the screw plug on the pump head, and inject liquid through the screw plug hole until the pump and suction pipeline are completely filled with water, and then screw on the screw plug
Note: check valves must be installed at suction inlet
Pay attention to the direction of the vent hole of the exhaust screw to ensure that the spilled water does not splash into the person and the interior of the motor,Special attention should be paid to avoid scalding when transport liquid with high temperature.
2. Check before starting the pump
(1)whether the anchor bolts are tightened
(2) Whether the grid voltage is normal
(3)Whether the pipeline connection is leaking
(4)whether the inlet valve is fully open
(5)if there is a pressure gauge, check the pressure gauge range is appropriate
(6)If equipped with a pressure switch, check the starting and breaking pressure
3. Check rotation direction
Start the motor and observe whether the rotation direction of the vane is consistent with the direction arrow on the pump, that is, the pump should be rotated counterclockwise from the vane end.
4 pump start times
The pump cannot be started frequently: the motor power ≤ 4kw, the starting times shall not exceed 100 times / h; when the motor power is greater than 4kw, the starting times shall not exceed 20 times / h.
5. The pump should be used in the recommended flow range (curve thickening part) to prevent overheating caused by too small flow and motor overload caused by excessive flow.
6. Anti-freezing measures
When the operating environment temperature of the pump is less than 0 ° C, antifreeze measures must be taken. When the pump is shut down, the water in the pump must be drained to avoid damaging the pump due to freezing.
7. The pump shall be regularly inspected for the following items
(1)whether the running pressure of the pump is within the allowable range
(2)Whether there is leakage in pump and pipeline system
(3)whether the motor overheating.
(4)Clean/replace the filter screen
(5)Whether the starting frequency is within the allowable range. If any abnormality is found, please refer to "common faults and treatment methods".
8. When the pump is out of service for a long time, it should be cleaned and protectivemeasures should be taken.
Common failures and solutions
Make sure the power supply is cut off before opening the motor junction box cover.
